Written by St. Thomas More

Published by Scepter 2010, paperback, 80 pages.

The book’s first half contains an abridged account of Pico’s life (1463-1494). The second is More’s rhymed verse on the twelve rules of spiritual battle, the twelve weapons of spiritual battle, and the twelve properties of a lover followed by Pico’s prayer to God. In the end, More’s Pico serves as an exercise in the discernment of true virtue, and in reconciling life in the world with the demands of faith.
