God’s Living Word series is like a visitor’s guide, taking readers through each book of the New Testament, pointing out the highlights along the way, and encouraging readers to make the most of their experience of Scripture. This study guide divides the gospel into more than a hundred short passages and includes

  • A meditation and three reflection questions for each passage;
  • Four different “plans” for combining passages into eight-week Bible studies that explore particular themes in the gospel, such as the Sermon on the Mount or Jesus’ call to discipleship.

The guides in this series do not require intense preparation beforehand and will stimulate lively discussion and interest in the Bible, especially for the who are new to Scripture study.
